Abdul Golden is the Principal of Golden ITSM Advisory and an IT service operations leader with more than 20 years of experience across financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, and consulting.

He has led major ITSM and service desk transformations, including rebuilding underperforming service desks, implementing ITIL processes, leading multiple ITSM platform migrations, and establishing enterprise governance functions.

His work has produced measurable results, including improved service desk KPIs, faster critical incident response, fewer repeat incidents, and millions of dollars in annual savings.

Today, Abdul combines that operational experience with AI and automation expertise to help IT leaders determine where AI fits, what could prevent it from working, and how to use it to improve service desk operations without adding more complexity.

He holds a master’s degree in computer science, an MBA in finance and information systems, and certifications in ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, and Enterprise AI, with experience across multiple ITSM platforms.
